Art has always been important in my life. As a very small child I would watch my father, an exhibited watercolour artist, create beautiful paintings. He inspired me to paint and draw and I won an international horse painting competition when I was 11. Nature and wildlife have always been my passion - horses in particular.
I'm increasingly concerned about our impact on the planet and this is reflected in much of my work.
Most of my paintings are of nature, including landscapes. I also specialise in animal portraits.
